Warner Glen Wines
The Story of Warner Glen
Headed by partner and Viticulturist Glen Harding, the focus for the Warner Glen Range is on producing quality wines that excel in every way.
The key vineyard is Jindawarra Vineyard, which is located south of Karridale and currently has34.6 hectares of vineyard planted. With north facing slopes and soils of gravelly loams it is the ideal site for premium and super premium winegrapes. Planted in the year 2000 the vines are mature, balanced and of moderate vigour. The vineyard is only 6 kilometres from the Southern Ocean and 4 kilometres from the Indian Ocean and avoids extreme temperatures as a result of the cooling sea breezes.
Premium cabernet sauvignon is sourced from our Willyabrup managed vineyard. Plantings on our Jindawarra vineyard are: 11.3 ha’s shiraz, 8 ha’s gingin clone chardonnay, 6.3 ha’s sauvignon blanc, 3 ha’s pinot noir droopy clone, 2.1 ha’s viognier and 3.9ha’s Pinot Gris.
Glen’s plan includes a hands on approach to vineyard management through to final production, to produce outstanding value for money wines. Winemaker – Andrew Vesey
Frog Belly Wines
The Story of Frog Belly Wines
These wines aim to be varietally true, with an emphasis on fruit quality and regional expression. There is a real push for these wines to be sustainably produced within the vineyard, careful irrigation where required, mineral based fertilisers and organic foliar feeds, moderate crops and vine balance. They are combinations that ensure the best is produced in the vineyard and delivered to bottle.
As a viticulturist of nearly 20 years I have seen hundreds of vineyards in the south west of Western Australia and the subsequent wines that have been made from them. When the opportunity arose to purchase the Warner Glen, Frog Belly and Smokin’ Gun wine labels it made pure sense to partner these wines to some of these magnificent vineyards I had seen over time.

Our aim with these wines is to utilise the best of our Margaret River and Great Southern vineyards to produce affordable wines that over deliver on quality.
